From the multi-plex to the couch, I love movies! These are my thoughts on old movies, new movies, film, film events and the wonderful people who make them!!
In 3:10 to Yuma an unwitting volunteer tries to get a notorious gunman to his train. Out in DVD this week, there are fine performances in this western remake.

To go back a few posts:
Can't wait to see "There Will Be Blood," although in general I'm not that turned on by the subject matter.
I'm glad you liked "Say Anything" on the return trip - great movie (especially for the genre).
And returning to present, I though Yuma was solid, but I don't think I'm going to buy it on DVD. I keep flip-flopping on this one.
Wouldn't buy 3:10 to Yuma,2D, but would recommend it all day long as a rental.
The subject matter is not the force of There Will Be Blood. Watch the pace and the skill in the film. I think you'll get it....
Enjoy.....
