In The Lookout, a young man suffers a brain injury in a car accident, and must relearn how to cope with everyday life. From the very basic elements of independence, to acceptance by peers that he really doesn't remember. Part of this acceptance takes an ugly turn when he is told he'll be part of a bank robbery. Well structured, this is not only a good heist film, but an excellent, character-driven, drama. The writing and acting are top-notch.
