From the multi-plex to the couch, I love movies! These are my thoughts on old movies, new movies, film, film events and the wonderful people who make them!!
I used to live in Pittsburgh and was lucky enough to interview him for an article. He talked to me PRECISELY like his on-screen character. Surreal, but nice. BTW, both George A. Romero and Michael Keaton worked on "Mister Rogers' Neighborhood" during their early years.
Nayana~If you want a little cyber interaction with Mr. Rogers, these interviews are great, and it's nice to see him again http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=%22archive+of+american%22+%22fred+rogers%22&lv=1
Toto~ Wow! I get the impression that Fred Rogers was the same on and off camera. A truly genuine person. I too lived in Pgh. for a while, and always wished I'd run into him, never did .... I'm looking forward to Ben and Christofer's film.

I cried when I learned of his passing. He always liked me just the way I was...
