Suspria

In Suspria it first seems political. I thought the power dynamic being established was based in the world of dance. It then became apparent that there was a supernatural element that takes the scenes off the rails. The performances in this film are outstanding. It is also stunning to look at at times. The dance sequences are well filmed. A crazy ride, though much too long. I'll bet this looked great in the theater. A decent rental.
