The latest comedy starring Will Ferrell is Blades of Glory. Well written, with some very funny gags. In some cases ridiculous, but very fun. Not the greatest ever, but certainly satisfying. This is a comedy to relax and enjoy!
PS There's a funny bit in the credits.

Is it truly funny or homophobic? This is the kind of movie that only Americans might find funny as it seems American males are the most afraid of having their friendships viewed as something more intimate.
Unless I missed something, I saw nothing homophbic in this movie. I thought the humor was in the outrageous situations associated with the competition.
I think I just immediately look at any movie with Will Ferrell in it with a great deal of skepticism. Sometimes I think his style of humor to be very vulgar, but a lot of people probably would disagree with me. That's what makes the world so exciting though.
I missed the credit gag, but found the movie to be funny enough - for a matinee, but I don't think it's one of Ferrell's best. Just my thoughts.
Abe, Ferrell's comedy is not for everyone. He's always over the top, and often offensive ... though for many that's his appeal.
2 Dollar, agree with you on pay only matinee prices for this movie, but it's entertaining enough. In Ferrell's body of work, I think Elf, Dick and Talledega Nights were much better.
