This time of year I become more freakish about my film consumption. My Oscar Project rules my cinema choices from now until March 7th. Living in such a small market, seeing all the nominated films is a lot of fun and requires a bit of strategy. This weekend, I don't care what happens in RI theaters, I'm on my way to NYC. My daughter Liza and her fiance Ryan are taking me to see Fuerza Bruta on Saturday night. For the rest of the weekend, NY movie theaters are my oyster and I'm hoping to knock 1 or 2 films off this list.

I only say 1 0r 2 because we must leave time for food,drink, shopping, visits and football. Next weekend I'll return to RI theaters and their offerings, but for now, Big Apple here I come!!

Have a great time . . . my vote for the choices would be option 1, 2 or 3. Some of the last few I haven't even heard of. :) Good luck.
2D~I'm reading great things about Broken Embraces. Spanish film w/ the lovely Penlope Cruz. Just starting to hit theaters outside NY & LA. Stay tuned.....
