Flick 4 Friday : Favorite Alien Movie
I never quite bought the concept of visitors from outer space. So when Flick 4 Friday posed the question "what is your favorite alien movie?", my mind went to the parody, Men in Black. Nothing is too sacred to poke fun at here, from childbirth to the FBI. Fantastic special effects, funny aliens, creepy aliens and the amazing (and hilarious) Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith to save the day!

The Men in Black flicks are surprisingly good. Vincent D'Onofrio really should've gotten some kind of award for that crazy-funky alien body language he created. That couldn't have been good for his neck.
As for my fave alien flicks, well...I'm a bit of a scifi junkie. A good space adventure is always appealing to me. But if I could only have one, I'd probably pick Aliens. I love the original too, but Cameron's take on the idea was just one of the greatest things ever put on film. Twenty years later, and it still kicks a** and looks amazing. I never get tired of it.
I totally agree with Men in Black. I, prefer, funny aliens to rip your guts out aliens. I do hope that if there are extra terrestrials out there that they're more friendly than they are bend on world (or galactic) domination.

Hey Lori! Agreed, D'Onofrio gave an awesome performance. Aliens is probably the classic alien flick, I remember watching a lot of it through my fingers, scary stuff!
