Il Divo

I watched the Italian film Il Divo because it is nominated for an Oscar for achievement in makeup. I was treated to a poetic film about the Italian Prime Minister, Giulio Andriotti. Depicting the trial for his alleged association with the mafia, murder and kidnapping, this is a dramatic story. Gorgeous cinematography, artistic structure and yes, impressive makeup, this film is worth a look. I wish I had seen it on the big screen.
