Gonzo:The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson
Gonzo:The Life and Work of Dr. Hunter S. Thompson is a cool ride through the passions and politics of the man. With his own words as a backdrop, his friends and colleagues explain and explore the man, his works and his lifestyle. This film is well done, I'll be re-reading Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas this week.

I'm glad you were able to catch this one as I enjoyed it, although I'm biased because I'm been a big fan of the Dr. for many years (his writing mainly). I thought they did a good job rounding him out a bit.
And I just posted a Pineapple Express review today as I'm catching up from vacation. Next weekend, Tropic Thunder and Vicki Christina Barcelona top the list.
2D~I think writers have a special spot in their hearts for Thompson. I learned about him from my daughter, a journalist who named her dog Gonzo. I was taken by his talent, spirit and love of all that is fast and loud. He left us with his words, and though I struggle with the written word, I find him to be an inspiration.
