Night at the Museum:Battle of the Smithsonian

I really enjoyed the first Night at the Museum movie, so I was psyched for the same film fun that is Night at the Museum:Battle of the Smithsonian. The latest version has the action taking place in the Smithsonian. It's a bit more disjointed than the first and has it's slow spots, but for the most part it is entertaining. There are even a few laugh out loud moments, the writing is sharper this round. There are still excellent visual effects, and Amy Adams, as Amelia Airhart, is the ray of sunshine in this one. The exposure to lots of historical events is a good side effect as well. Nice family friendly film.

I hated this movie. Just because it's for families, and it's targeted at a younger demographic doesn't give it a license to be lazy and sloppy. Just my two cents!

Eric~There were many foolish aspects to this film, plenty of weak moments. I still think the entertainment element is there. Lots of folks just relax and enjoy.
