Oh Vera

Vera Drake is cinema of the heart. The story of a kind, generous, well meaning woman in 1950's London, collides with the law's view of assisting abortion. How the discovery of her activities effects her, and her family, is heart wrenching. The cinematography and performances are outstanding. A very sad story.
